Bhagwat Gita – True Philosophy of Life

Bhagwat Gita is the most sacred Hindu scripture; it is a collection of 700 versus conferred by Lord Krishna himself to Pandava prince Arjuna at the battleground of Kurukshetra during Mahabharat. Bhagwat Gita shows path to the one who is lost, answer to the one who is confused and wisdom to all. It is deemed as the one and only guide for a human being’s course of action on Earth.

Here are the main lessons from holy Bhagwat Gita called the “Gita Saar”-

Whatever happened, it happened for good.
Whatever is happening is happening for good.
Whatever that will happen, it will be for good.
What have you lost for which you cry?
What did you bring with you, which you have lost?
What did you produce, which has destroyed?
You did not bring anything when you were born.
Whatever you have, you have received from Him (God).
Whatever you will give, you will give to Him (God).
You came empty handed and You will go the same way.
Whatever is yours today was somebody else’s yesterday and will be somebody else’s tomorrow.
Change is the law of the universe.

Apart these Bhagwat Gita emphasizes on the importance of Karma (Duty), it states “Do your work without the expectation of results”. It says that truth can never be destroyed so one should not be afraid of doing well. Greatest enemies of a person are desire and anger; one should have full control over his desires and anger only then you can conquer his/her tasks. The way to free the emotions of love from jealousy and control are actually explained in Gita. While living in this world physical and emotional detachments are impossible. Gita explains to live a pure life.
