Diwali is a five-day festival. As per the Puranas every day in the 5-day series got it's own significance. On all these 5 days we can observe all Temples-to- Households-to- Commercial complexes got illuminated with hundreds of Diyas(Deepam) and can see devotees offering various preparations of food to the Diety. Diwali ceremony is observed to be celebrated for the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years of his exile.
